Fun in California
Last month we did something that we've talked about a lot but never done. We took a family vacation! We went to Palm Springs, Cal. Everyone in the family went except Mike (my hubby) and my youngest daughter Katie's husband Jared. He stayed home with their youngest Evan who is 18 months old. We stayed in a huge condo complex. It was awsome! There were two large swimmimg pools three or four hot tubs, a lazy river (my favorite) a kiddie pool and some shooting fountains. Then there are several Golf Courses and Shopping and etc... There was so much to do just where we were staying we really didn't need to leave. The whole family went to Six Flags one day, I don't do heat very well so I stayed behind at the condo. I just slept and read and watched TV. It was heaven! I think we should do it every year.

Don't know if I will now that Brooke is gone. She's my computer girl. I'll have to get Sara over here.This is so cute! Looks like the vacation was great! I'm jumping on the weight thing this week. I had lost 15 and gained about ten back. I think I'm going to join the sparks thing. It's free and you can talk to local people and encourage each other--it has the tracking thing and every type of help you can think of. I have my bodybug site --that I pay for but it's been so long I can't remember what it is called. Sorry about your friend dying.It really does make you think. I'm the exact age my dad was when he passed away so it gives me a lot to think about too. Lets keep in touch and help each other out with the weight thing. Love ya! Jeri
